Reflections don't get much better than this example at Loch na h-Oidhche with the mountain known as Baos Bheinn as a backdrop. Everything looks so tranquil in this scene but to get here involved crossing a river (the outflow from this loch) in spate due to the volume of rain in preceeding days. There were stepping stones but the water was rushing over them with some considerable force. It was a tricky to cross without slipping off the wet round rocks into the river. When I reached the loch and saw this near perfect reflection I knew it had been well worth the risk of getting a dunking. Later that day I would need to cross the river again so more excitement lay in store for me!
