Read MorePhoto 1538; Isle Ewe and Sea Mist
A few times each sea mist rolls in to the North-west Highlands of Scotland, usually towards the end of summer. This presents all sorts of photographic opportunities, both while enveloped in the mist, or as in this case, above and outside of it. Beyond the island the mist has enveloped the western shores of Loch Ewe the higher hills of which are just breaking through above the cloud. Nestled amongst the trees is the building that once served as the island's schoolhouse. Now the children make a boat trip to get to their school on the mainland.
