Photo 3227: Little Loch Broom, Scotland

Taken from one of Wester Ross's most spectacular viewpoints. Visitors can pull into a car park at the top of the hill to be greeted by this glorious panorama. The view includes (from L to R) Summer Isles, Little Loch Broom, Scoraig village, Coigach, Beinn Ghobhlach, Durnamuck, Dundonnell, and The Fannichs. The car park from which this view can be seen was the location of the film 'Shell' which was nominated for three BAFTA awards. For the purposes of the film a temporary petrol station (non functioning) was built in the car park and the flim plot was set around the people who operated the petrol station.
