My friend and I began our walk at this point earlier in the day. On our return the daylight was slowly transforming into twilight bathing the surrrounding hills and the loch in a soft glowing light. In the foreground is Loch Beannacharain (the place of peaks) and rising from the far shore is Meall Buidhe (Yellow Hill). This was a perfect end to our perfect day of walking in Gleann Fhiodhaig. Two years later my friend became my wife.
